IDCMR 1-Month Exchange Program to Mahidol University

Last month, I received an email from MU stating that I was chosen as the recipient of the IDCMR 1-Month Exchange Program. I still remember the day I received the email clearly. I was overwhelmed with emotions because I did not expect I would pass the scholarship program. The preparation proceeded smoothly with the aid of P'Ohm. P'Ohm is the International Relations Staff at MU. He has been helping me since the scholarship recipient announcement. On the first day here, he took me around to get familiar with the road near the hotel and school. He even paid for the lunch as a welcome. The program started on 21st August 2023, he gave us a tour around the campus. Overall, it was a fantastic campus tour. It will be an interesting and exciting journey for me at MU to observe all the departments.

At that time, I met a friend from Laos, whose name is Petchmany. She's fluent in Thai and thanks to her my time at MU was smooth as I was able to talk to people there. Though we may fight sometimes I enjoy my time when I'm with her. I'm grateful to Petch for always helping with the interpretation so I could understand.

Within one month, we visited various departments and met new people, from seniors to juniors. We had lots of fun as we not only shared experiences and knowledge but also made friends with them. I'm sincerely thankful to all departments' professors, doctors, staff, and students for their warm welcome and hospitality. It was an unforgettable memory, and I will cherish these experiences to continue on my journey to become a great dentist. I hope to see everyone again in the future and then until next time.
